Access 2007 - Adding A trusted Location

Access 2007 defaults to blocking all macros on any Database stored outside of the MS Office Wizard folders. This causes a popup everytime the user opens ServiceTracker
To resolve, the user needs to add the location of ServiceTracker as a Trusted Location.

Open ServiceTracker

Click on the Button to "Stop All Macros"

Select Access Options from the Office Menu

Then Click on "Access Options"

Click On Trusted Locations

1. Click on "Trust Center"
2. Click on "Trust Center Settings"

Complete the following Steps:

1. If ServiceTracker is located on your Server,you will need to check "Allow Trusted Locations on my Network"
2. Click on "Add New Location"
3. Click "Browse" and location the folder that ServiceTracker is located in - Typically "C:\ST5" or if on a data drive "D:\ST5"
4. Check the box "Subfolders are also trusted"
5. Click "ok"
6. Click "ok"
(click ok again)

Restart ServiceTracker

Click on the Office Button, Then "Exit Access"
