ServiceTracker 5 Uses the Microsoft Access 2007 Framework. Each User must have FULL ADMIN permissions to the ST5 directory (not just read write) other wise the Database will open in read only mode.
The user is unable login due to not having FULL Permissions on the ServiceTracker (ST5) Directory
This is typically C:\ST5 on a VPS\Terminal Server or D:\ST5 where D is the data drive on your server
Right Click on the ST5 directory and Select Properties, then click on Security
Click on the User Group
Note how the Users group does not have "Full Control", "Modify" & "Write" allowed. Click on Edit.
1. Click on your User Group (in this example the standard users group)
2. Then click on "Full Control" check box
Click OK x 2 then start ServiceTracker. If you are able to login into ServiceTracker, the issue has been resolved.
